Blues getting back on the ice, next home game Thursday Feb. 10th

The Blues are happy to announce they will be back on the ice at “The Market” on February 1st after more then a month away from the rinks.  The team will get some practices in before games resume with the first home game set for Thursday February 10th when the Blues host the Dunnville Mudcats.  The puck drops at 7:30pm.

The schedule was changed from 36 games down to 30 because it would have been impossible to make up all the games postponed due to the shutdown and still get the playoffs in before the ice starts coming out of the rinks.  The Blues are sitting in first place with 6 games remaining, five at home and one on the road.  The division is so tight it will probably come down to the last regular season game to determine first to fifth place.

Games remaining are: Home Thursday Feb. 10th (Dunnville), Thursday Feb. 17th (Niagara), Thursday Feb. 24th (Glanbrook), Sunday Feb. 27th (Grimsby) and Thursday March 3rd (Hagersville) all games start at 7:30pm. Away Saturday Feb. 19th in Hagersville 7:30pm.

Come on out and cheer on your local community ran hockey team.  It’s the youngest team Dundas has iced in years and they are definitely a really exciting hockey team to watch.
