Blues Head to South Conference Final – Series Begins Saturday!

We’re excited to announce that your Dundas Blues are headed to the PJHL South Conference Championship!

The Blues will take on the Tavistock Braves in a best-of-seven series as they battle for the South Conference title and a spot in the league semi-finals. It all gets started this Saturday, April 4th at 7:30 PM in Tavistock.

Game 3 – Wednesday, April 8 @ Tavistock
Game 4 – Friday, April 10 @ Dundas

Game 6 – Monday, April 13 @ Dundas (if necessary)
Game 7 – Wednesday, April 15 @ Tavistock (if necessary)

 

Both teams come into the series playing strong hockey. Tavistock finished the regular season in second place with a 28-11-3 record and carried a 10-game winning streak into the playoffs before defeating Woodstock in seven games to capture the Doherty Division.

The Blues are coming off a strong five-game series win over Niagara to claim the Bloomfield Division Championship and have been driven all season by one of the top offenses in the league, finishing second overall with 242 goals scored.

This matchup features strength vs. strength — Dundas’ high-powered offense against Tavistock’s disciplined defensive play and top-ranked penalty kill. Special teams could play a key role, with the Blues operating at 27.6% on the power play during the regular season.

We’re expecting an intense, competitive series from start to finish — and we’ll need your support every step of the way as playoff hockey returns to Dundas for Games 2, 4 and 6.
