Dundas and Glanbrook meet once again

One of the most intense and familiar rivalries in junior hockey is set to take center stage once again as the Dundas Blues and Glanbrook Rangers prepare to meet in the PJHL South Bloomfield Division semi-final.

Game 1 of the highly anticipated best-of-seven series gets underway Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. at the J.L. Grightmire Arena in Dundas, where fans are expected to pack the historic building for the latest chapter in a rivalry that has become a staple of the postseason.

The two teams seem to find each other in the playoffs year after year, and if recent history is any indication, fans can expect another thrilling series.

Many will remember the dramatic 2024 South Bloomfield Division semi-final between the clubs. That electric series featured multiple overtime games and unforgettable moments, none bigger than Game 7 when Spencer Marler buried the overtime winner to send the Blues through in what remains one of the most iconic goals in franchise history.

With both teams entering the series playing strong playoff hockey, the stage is set for another memorable battle between the two proud organizations.
The fans should expect a series filled with physical play, dramatic moments, and the kind of intensity that only a long-standing rivalry can produce.
